Day 14 John 15
Scripture

“Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. I am the vine; you are the branches.”

John 15 : 4–5 · ESV

Observation

The branch has one job — to stay. Fruit is never commanded here; nearness is. I keep trying to grow something on my own stem, and Jesus keeps saying: abide first.

Application

Before I open my phone tomorrow, I will open this page. Not to produce anything — just to stay near the Vine long enough to hear Him.

Prayer

Lord, I have been striving. Teach me the slower obedience of staying close to You. Keep me on the Vine. Amen.
